How to Participate as a Vendor in the Garage Sale...

1. Come purchase a box and vendor number from us for the Cost of $5 per box starting Monday, February 13th, 2012 (max. number of boxes allowed per person is 5)

2. Take your box(es) home and fill them with any unused/unneeded new or gently used scrapbooking or cardmaking supplies with your price and vendor number on each piece. Please package Papers in jumbo Ziploc bags as "value packs".

Single sheets will not be sold from boxes.

3. Create a list of the items which you would like to sell.

Include the price of each item and make sure you drop this off with your box(es)

4. Drop off your box between 10 and 5 March 30th at the Church.

5. Pick up your Cash or Gift Certificate to All About Scrapbooks & More* for the amount of product we sold out of your boxes along with any unsold merchandise on Wednesday, April 4th. Please indicate when signing up whether you would like your cash or a gift certificate.

Colour Inspiration Challenge 2 with a Sample

It is time for our second colour inspiration challenge & contest. I think we need to brighten things up, because outside is gray and dull. Kim has found a fabulous colour/design blog and is so inspired by the colour combos and photos there that she just has to share. DESIGN SEEDS
Kim is going to be hosting a colour challenge contest each month on our blog., based on one of the colour schemes found at “Design Seeds “ . If you would like to participate – all you have to do is create a page, card or project and upload a photo and link it to the blog posting for that month. If you don’t know how to upload & link – we can do this for you.
Just bring your contest entry to the store and we will take care of the rest. All entries need to be to us by the 25th of each month or posted by the 25th. Winners will be announced on the last day of each month & will receive a scrappy gift package. This month is will be a Fancy Pants Designs prize pack. All winners will be chosen by random. Have fun and let us see how colour inspires you.

It’s time for all those New Year’s Resolutions to take shape. One great resolution is to make time to be creative. That is where our Friday night crops come in. Join with friends to make your memories extra special, with coffee & cookies to boot! Our crops are just $5.00 per person. Crop time begins at 7:00pm and goes to 12:00am. We have 8 - 10 spaces available on Friday Nights.

Here are our January, February & March* crop dates:
January 6th, 13th and 20th
February 10th, 17th and 24th
And
March 2nd, 16th, 23rd and 30th

You can even use our cropping tools:
Big Shot, Quickutz Squeeze & Wizard
Sizzix Dies & various alphabets
6 Different Quickutz Alphabets & a binder of Dies
Various Punches including fancy Border punches
6" Cricut Machine & 12” Expression**
50 Cricut Cartridges available for crop room use***

Please call to pre-book your spot in our crop area. It's fun great time to get together with creative friends or come on in on your own and make some new friends.
Crop includes munchies and a beverage. Pre-Booking required, so give us a call to book your spot 519.533.1500 (We require 6 individuals to run our crops. Crops not filled by the THURSDAY at 12:00pm will be cancelled and croppers notified)
Don't forget you can come in and crop for $5.00 any time the store is open, just give us a quick phone call to let us know that you are coming in.
Also, due to the safety of customers with allergies, we are asking everyone to join us in making our classroom/store a perfume free zone.
*Cancellations can take place due to weather, staffing and not having a minimum number of croppers
**For use of the cricut machine, you will need to provide your own cutting mat. We will have some available for purchase. You are more than welcome to bring your own Cartridges to use in our cricut as well and bring your own Cricut with you. Also we can refurbish your mats for you.

Have you taken notice of leaves on the trees. It is so inspiring to be surrounded by beautiful colours, even if we have to rake them up. All too soon the colours will be gone and the cool days will be white and grey, another fabulous colour combination for scrapbooking. POTM - Nordic Holiday Double Layout

The Nordic Holiday collection covers everything from Christmas to winter games and every chilly event in between, and Kelly Goree opted to scrapbook her childrens’ seasonal activities on this wonderful feast for the eyes. Your students will be playing with lots of goodies, including our new Bowties, to create their own special, one-of-a-kind holiday page. This page is completely adjustable for non-holiday themes, including winter activities (how about a snowball fight?), building a snowman, or even a school event.

This Nordic Holiday Collection layout from Basic Grey is a great way to begin to get ready for the upcoming holiday season.

Tomorrow will be our final day open at our current location - 22-24 Kent St. We will be packing up the items on the walls & spinners, but the racks of paper are still all there to shop from. We will close the current store at 6:00 pm, Thursday Aug 18th, 2011
Our REOPEN DATE in our new digs (787 Dundas St. same entrance as Curves) has been pushed back to August 29th, 2011 as there is more to be done than we thought.
Don't forget that the main enterance to the NEW LOCATION is around the back of the building. Signage will soon be up for the new store as well.

CUSTOMER YARD SALE UPDATE

Summer is a crazy, busy time for all of us, spending time with family, vacationing and enjoying the sunshine.

We had booked our yard sale for August 6th, 2011 and I have since been scheduled to work at my full time job and cannot be at the store to run the yard sale.That just leaves 1 staff to run the whole kit & kaboodle and we know how crazy it can be in the crop room that day. We also heard from a lot of our regular venders that they could not participate because of the date.

I have come to the conclusion that we will have to reschedule to a later date in the fall, when it is a better time for all of us.
If you already have your Vender number - Hang on to it - it will not change unless you ask us to change it. Give us a call at the store if you have any questions or concerns - 519-533-1500.

We will update this event as soon as we have a new date for it.

We have a variety of tools for use in the crop room. Quickutz Letters Sets & Dies, Big Shot Letters, Dies and Folders are just some of the tools. Always a friendly staff to help you out and the store is open for shopping the entire time. You can also crop in the crop room during store hours on a daily basis for $2.00 per hour to a MAX of $5.00, providing that there is no class running. Don't forget, you must prebook you space for Friday night crops.

Stamp Catalogue Ordering

It is getting to be the time of year when stampers come looking for that perfect Christmas image or sentiment. We would like to think that we have great taste in both wood and clear stamps but Dana and I have the hardest time choosing what we think you would like. SOOOooooo we want you to choose for yourself.

We will be having a time in September, when you can come in and look through 4 or 5 stamp company catalogues and preorder your stamps for Christmas or whatever event you might like.

The Children and Young people will be heading back to school in a couple of weeks and all the activites that go along the start up of the Fall season. It is time to get back into the swing of things with your scrapbooking and cardmaking. Just $5.00 a person for regular crop nights, 7:00pm - 12:00am. The sun is hot and the humidity is heavy but our crop room is cool and air conditioned. Come and create with friends during our Friday night crops. Bring your projects to work on, use our die-cutting tools and there is always a friendly staff member to help with design, technique and product questions. Cool drinks and light treats are the snacks of choice, but coffee and tea are served as well. Just $5.00 per person from 7:00pm to 12:00am.

Chrissy did a great job on her double layout. We love how she balanced the papers and her photos, using the scalloped cards as mats. She used her stamps to add a touch of whimsy to her page and coloured in her butterflies with coloured pencils. Great Job! Kelly and couple of other participants continue to amaze us with their inventive cards. Kelly has created 3 cards here. Here is your layout for this month

Featuring the Cappella Collection. A soft blush, sage, white and charcoal line with a touch on light blue and Burgandy. This is a double sided collection so you can choose to change the layout as the need arises. We chose to use black and white photos which were tinted a slight green. Nic Howard used dark coloured photos. Either will work perfectly. You will need to bring with you 2 landscape 5x7 photos and 1 portrait 5x7 photo. ( if you like lots of photos consider printing 4 ~ 3-5.5 portraits and 2 ~ 3 - 5.5 landscape for the best use of this layout.) You will also need your paper trimmer, very fine point scissors and a black chalk ink or charcoal grey ink. Also don't for get your journaling pen. PS this layout can be created without photos as well. Another Idea is to make it into 2 separate layouts. It would work beautifully for that too.If you have circle cutting tools that would be great to bring as well or I can cut your circles on the Pazzle machine.

You collect your new or gently used scrapbooking items that you would like to sell and price and number them. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PRICED AND NUMBERED - if not, they can not be sold. You set the price and we sell it for you. You receive a dollar for dollar gift card for the store. You will need to drop off your items by August 5 at 6:00pm so we can set up the Crop Room as a store for you to shop on Saturday, August 7th. Please note - Numbers are assigned as people sign up so your previous number may not be available - sorry for any inconvenience but we had some number confusion for our last sale and we have decided to start fresh.

These kits contained eyelets, navy ribbon, cardstock and featured October Afternoon Papers.
Donna journaled in her own hand writing. We love her photos, the sea shells covered in bubbles and that bright blue jellyfish. She did a great job echoing the bubbles with her eyelets. Great Job!

Spring Crop Nights

Spring is here and the soccer/baseball seasons have begun. Take an evening for yourself. Come crop with creative friends, have a cup of coffee and some cookies. Just $5.00 per cropper. 7:00pm - 12:00am Friday nights. Please call and prebook your space. A minimum of 6 Croppers are needed to run the crop until midnight.
